Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Develop Technical Specifications for Turbines and Auxiliaries.
  • Collaborate with Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Others.
  • Create Tender Specifications, Evaluate Bids, and Review Vendor Drawings for Power Plant-Related Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Equipment.
  • Possess Hands-On Experience in Designing and Detail Engineering of Power Plants (Combined Cycle Power Plants - Gas & Steam, Gas-Based Power Plants).
  • Should Have Site Engineering Experience.
  • Exhibit a Strong Understanding of Electrical, Civil, and Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Have Experience in Boiler Specification and Engineering.
  • Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and Related Layout and Scheme Drawings.
  • Create EPC Tender Specifications for Power Plants, Including Coordination with Other Disciplines as Required by Clients.
  • Possess Experience in Preparing DPRs that Include Design Details and Cost Estimates for Combined Power Plants (New Plant Construction, Renovation, or Revamping Projects).
  • Familiarity with HRSG & GTG/STG is an Asset.
  • Write Miscellaneous Equipment Erection Specifications.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Software Development is an Advantage, but Not Essential.

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the design and implementation of power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and be able to develop technical specifications for turbines and auxiliaries.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering Expertise: Develop technical specifications for turbines and auxiliaries, and possess hands-on experience in designing and detail engineering of power plants.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and others, and prepare detailed project reports (DPR) and related layout and scheme drawings.
  • Tender Evaluation: Create tender specifications, evaluate bids, and review vendor drawings for power plant-related mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Boiler Engineering: Have experience in boiler specification and engineering, and possess familiarity with HRSG & GTG/STG.
  • Engineering Software: Knowledge of engineering software development is an advantage, but not essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and detail engineering of power plants.
  • Ability to develop technical specifications for turbines and auxiliaries.
