Learning and Development Leader
- This role involves leading the overall Learning & Development function, Performance Management, and Quality Assurance across the hotel operation.
Responsibilities:
- General:
- Disseminate corporate and hotel policies to colleagues.
- Ensure business activities comply with laws and regulations.
- Support the People & Culture Strategic decisions.
- Fully support all learning and development activities.
Specific Responsibilities:
- On The Job trainers and trainings.
- Group Training Technique trainers and trainings.
- Maintain a complete Training Matrix for your department.
- Maintain Job Description and Job Specification Matrix your department.
- Document career paths and development needs of colleagues.
- Hold regular meetings with colleagues to discuss concerns or challenges.
- Protect confidential information and personal data.
- Support sustainable practices at the hotel.
- Comply with social media policy.
- No tolerance for harassment or discrimination.
- Ambassador role at all times.
L&D Function:
- Communicate MOHG culture, mission, guiding principles and LQEs to colleagues.
- Manage the Performance Management process and cycle.
- Support Quality Assurance processes within the hotel.
- Review annual Performance Reviews to identify L&D needs.
- Communicate Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's Learning & Development Standards.
Delivering L&D:
- Plan, implement and review Learning and Development for the hotel.
- Engage Executive Committee members and Department Heads in analysing L&D needs.
- Prepare the Hotel Annual Learning & Development Plan.
- Distribute a monthly Hotel Training Calendar.
- Ensure colleagues' training needs are met.
- Deliver MOHG L&D programmes across all levels of colleagues.
- Assist Executive Committee members with making and implementing training decisions.
