Data Strategist & Architect

Define and execute a data strategy that drives business outcomes for our cutting-edge observability platform. Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines and advanced machine learning models while mentoring cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Data Leadership:
    • Develop a data architecture and machine learning strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Create a roadmap for integrating advanced machine learning models into the observability platform.
    • Establish best practices for data governance, quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
  • Scalable Data Pipelines: Design and oversee the implementation of high-performance data pipelines that support real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
  • Machine Learning Pipeline Architecture: Architect end-to-end machine learning pipelines from feature engineering and model training to deployment and monitoring in production environments.
  • Technological Innovation: Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge data and machine learning technologies to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with overall product strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement automated processes for model monitoring, retraining, and performance optimization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technical strategies, roadmaps, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 8–12+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering, with significant track record in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in architecting and deploying scalable data pipelines and machine learning models in production, preferably in telecom, enterprise software, or high-volume data environments.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python (and relevant libraries), and familiarity with data processing frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
