Hiring for a Senior Health and Safety Trainer.

Job Description:

The role of the HSE Instructor is to provide top-notch training and educational programs that promote safe work practices, environmental awareness, and regulatory compliance across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of Training Sessions: Design and deliver engaging and informative training sessions on a variety of HSE topics, including workplace safety, risk management, emergency response, environmental sustainability, hazardous materials handling, and compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Training Program Development: Develop and implement training programs and curricula that meet industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Instructional Methods: Lead both theoretical and practical training, using diverse instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate trainee knowledge and skills through tests, drills, and evaluations to ensure competency in HSE practices.
  • Content Updates: Update training content to reflect changes in legislation, industry best practices, and emerging risks.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 2 years in a training or instructional capacity.
