Job Summary:

This role oversees student supervision and school events, ensuring a safe, supportive, and enriching environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a high level of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Student Supervision
    • Foster student engagement, discipline, well-being, and holistic development through effective supervision policies and duty rosters.
    • Ensure adequate staffing and monitoring during arrival, break time, lunch, dismissal, and transitions.
    • Collaborate with Heads of Year, counsellors, and the safeguarding team to support student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA)
    • Plan and manage the ECA programme in coordination with department heads, ensuring a diverse range of clubs and activities catering to different student interests and age groups.
    • Oversee scheduling, promotion, and evaluation of clubs, events, and competitions, while monitoring student participation and engagement.
  • School Events and Trips
    • Organize and manage school-wide events such as Sports Day, National Day, Cultural Fairs, and Awards Ceremonies, while coordinating logistics, permissions, and staffing for all trips and events.
    • Approve and oversee educational field trips and outings, ensuring risk assessments and approvals are in place.
  • Policies and Compliance
    • Develop and review supervision and activity-related policies according to school guidelines, maintaining records and reports of incidents, participation, and activity evaluations.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.
