Job DescriptionAbout the Role

The Rotating Equipment Reliability Specialist is responsible for proactively analyzing, diagnosing, and preparing technical reports for all rotating equipment to ensure and sustain equipment performance and reliability to meet production and maintenance goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive technical support to condition monitoring teams.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and review data collected by condition monitoring specialists and provide high-quality diagnostic advice to asset teams on integrity deterioration and possible root causes of deterioration.
  • Evaluate and ensure the mechanical integrity of rotating equipment.
  • Ensure data quality in SAP for both PM and CM condition monitoring activities and drive improvements in data quality.
  • Evaluate rotating equipment energy efficiency and GHG emissions.
  • Utilize Condition Monitoring tools (PI Dashboards, DPM…etc) to proactively monitor health conditions of critical machines.
  • Provide specialist technical support and operational expertise input into new projects to assure operability and maintainability of rotating equipment.
  • Attend critical site activities when required.
  • Provide specialist expertise for troubleshooting, diagnostics analysis, and remedial actions for failures and breakdowns of rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical input to TR activities.
  • Provide input for compiling major rotating equipment overhaul programs.
  • Develop a motivated competent Condition Monitoring team members and maintain and improve.
  • Facilitate causal learning investigations and carry out reliability analysis.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with SAP and other relevant software systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
