Job Summary:

  • This is a senior interior design manager position for a high-profile resort renovation project.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the interior design process from concept to final execution.
  • Collaborating with clients, operators, and consultants to develop and implement design strategies.
  • Evaluating and ensuring design deliverables meet quality, cost, and time objectives.
  • Overseeing the in-house team and external design consultants.
  • Conducting technical reviews, design workshops, and value engineering sessions.
  • Maintaining design integrity during site execution.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between the design team and the construction team.
Requirements:

Candidates for this position should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in hospitality design or luxury interiors (desired).
  • At least 15 years of experience in high-end hospitality interior design.
  • At least 5 years in a managerial or project leadership role within Oman/GCC.
  • Experience with luxury hotel or resort renovations is essential.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with GCC hospitality design trends and cultural aesthetics.
