**Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. As part of this team, you will develop a cloud-native monitoring stack that composes best-in-class open-source tools.

The stack is opinionated, resilient, and scalable, providing deep insights out of the box. The user experience is polished and seamless for end-users, and its administrators will enjoy smooth, lightweight Day 1 and Day 2 operations.

About the Role
  1. You will collaborate proactively with a globally distributed team.
  2. You will write, test and document high quality code to create new features.
  3. You will debug issues and interact with a vibrant community.
  4. You will review code produced by other engineers.
  5. You will attend conferences to represent the company and the Charmed Observability Stack.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge and skills in software development, particularly in Python and Go.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM or similar degree.
  • Skilled Python developer with a track record in open source.
  • Working knowledge of Go.
  • Interest and experience with two or more of the following: Ubuntu Linux, container images, Debian packaging, snap, distributed systems.
