Senior Electrical Engineer JobWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing activities and processes associated with Electrical Engineering in the Project.
  • Apply electrical engineering practices, standards, and design codes.
  • Assist electrical engineers in reviewing engineering deliverables.
  • Compile information from contractor reports; evaluate and analyze compiled information using electrical engineering standards and codes.
  • Attend engineering reviews and meetings.
  • Actively participate in engineering reviews.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and make a recording of engineering reviews as assigned by the Lead Electrical Engineer.
  • Follow up on the turnover of electrical engineering documents.
  • Participate in equipment selection and procurement process.
  • Attend workshops and site inspections of electrical facilities as permitted.
  • Participate in solving electrical engineering challenges recognized during the development of the Front End Package or detailed engineering.
  • Inspect project sites to monitor HSE, progress, and ensure conformance to design specifications and project standards.
  • Identify gaps in existing practices and tools and manage the process of developing new practices or toolkit items that enhance company technological offerings.
  • Report any breaches of safety procedures to supervision/management.
  • Participate in pre- and post-contract award discussions with Asset Owners to assess and assist in defining user requirements.
  • Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies, and procedures, and ensure personal safety and that of colleagues at all times.
  • Be responsible for coordinating, executing, and progressing electrical engineering design.
  • Be responsible for technical accuracy, quality, and economy of electrical engineering applications design.
  • Ensure company safety and quality control procedures are followed during the execution of all work and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all design work.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the Middle East is preferred.
  • Experience working in an operating company is preferred.
  • Proven core electrical engineering skills, including design experience (FEED and detail engineering) and preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
