Software Engineering Visionary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading software development teams and a passion for technology and innovation. They will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our embedded Linux operating system, as well as driving technical initiatives that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead a high-performing team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
- Drive project delivery to meet business needs and ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales.
- Develop and maintain a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Participate actively in leadership discussions and contribute to strategic planning.
- Work remotely with occasional travel to company events.
- Personal Qualities:
- Possess a strong passion for technology and a willingness to learn.
- Be adaptable, articulate, and responsible.
- Have experience leading software development teams and managing technical projects.
- Demonstrate proven leadership, management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Have a deep understanding of agile development environments and embedded software development.
- Be proficient in Golang, C/C++, and Shell scripting.
