MEP Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing comprehensive MEP systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and regulatory standards.

  • Design and develop MEP systems for various projects, including HVAC, ELV, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct detailed load calculations to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to integrate MEP systems into building designs.
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Oversight of installation and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for timely project execution.
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalents desirable.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in MEP design and project management.
  • Experience in GCC region and Interior design - Fit-out sectors preferred.
  • Proven track record in interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
