
Housekeeping Coordinator

Our ideal candidate for the Rooms Technician position is a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Rooms Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.
Your duties will include performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, such as inspecting mattresses, assembling bed frames, and vacuuming behind furniture. You must also conduct general cleaning of all surfaces, including tubs, wall tiles, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.
In addition to these tasks, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and cleaning guest rooms according to property procedures and standards. This includes minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes. You must also report any safety hazards or maintenance problems to management immediately.
CRITICAL TASKS:
- Guest Room Preventative Maintenance: Follow checklists and complete maintenance efficiently, ensuring rooms are clean and equipment is removed post-maintenance. Inspections will be conducted by the Director of Engineering or designee.
- Maintain Building and Property: Report safety hazards or maintenance problems immediately.
- Install, Maintain, and Repair Items: Perform minor repairs as needed.
- Guest Relations: Address guest needs professionally and promptly, greeting guests courteously and using their names when possible.
- Working with Others: Support colleagues, fostering respectful and positive relationships.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement: Adhere to quality standards.
- Safety and Security: Follow safety policies, report injuries, use PPE, handle hazardous materials properly, and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
- Policies and Procedures: Protect guest and coworker privacy, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper appearance and asset protection.
- Physical Tasks: Be capable of reaching, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds unaided, and assisting with heavier objects, standing or walking for long periods.
