Technician in Hospitality

Description:

You will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to your customers. As a Laundry and Kitchen Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other departments within the hotel.

1. Kitchen Gas/Electrical Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
2. Dishwashers/Glasswashers Knowledge: Possess a good understanding of dishwashers and glasswashers, including their maintenance and repair requirements.
3. Equipment PPM Procedure Understanding: Familiarize yourself with each equipment's Preventive Maintenance (PPM) procedure to ensure they are properly serviced and maintained.
4. Gas Valve and Safety Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on gas valves and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
5. Drycleaning Machine Repair & Maintenance: Be proficient in repairing and maintaining drycleaning machines to ensure high-quality results.
6. Electrical and Motor Connections Knowledge: Possess very good knowledge of electrical and motor connections to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Mechanical and Pneumatic Valve Control Maintenance: Regularly maintain mechanical and pneumatic valve controls to ensure proper function and efficiency.
8. Brazing and Welding Knowledge: Possess brazing and welding skills to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

A qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Management is desirable.

Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or 4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant is required.

Location: The primary location for this position is OM-Muscat-Muscat.
