Chest Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant / Specialist in Pulmonology to work with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions, including asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.

Responsibilities:

• Use clinical expertise to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions
• Interpret results from pulmonological exams and tests, such as CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies
• Perform specialized procedures to acquire samples of the chest wall lining or lungs for further analysis
• Provide immunizations against preventable cardiopulmonary diseases
• Refer patients to cardiothoracic surgeons when necessary
• Offer support and advice to patients receiving long-term care

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in medicine
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
• 3 to 7 years of internship and clinical residency training in pulmonology
• Valid and active medical license in the state of practice
• Fellowship or equivalent qualification, such as Arab Board/Indian Board, to practice as a Pulmonologist

License:

• Valid MoH License as a Consultant or Specialist Pulmonologist (for candidates within Oman)
• For candidates applying outside of Oman, should be eligible to have a medical license as per the Oman MoH category
• Hold a valid medical license from your home country
