Senior Equine Veterinarian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equine Veterinarian to join our team at Al Hashar Group.

Al Hashar Group is a leading provider of equine healthcare services, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to horses and their owners.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve providing expert-level care to horses in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and farms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equine medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation: Conduct comprehensive lameness examinations, use conventional and regenerative therapies, and develop customized rehabilitation plans.
• Equine Internal Medicine: Evaluate and manage medical-grade colic, respiratory, and metabolic disorders, as well as equine ophthalmology.
• Equine Surgery: Perform local analgesia, wound management, general anesthesia, and various surgical procedures, including hernioplasty and castration.
• Equine Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize reproductive ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and radiography to diagnose and manage equine conditions.
• Equine Breeding: Conduct breeding soundness exams, artificial insemination, and pregnancy diagnosis via ultrasonography.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Valid veterinary practice license from the country of origin
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equine medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging
