Our hotel offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in providing world-class dining experiences to our guests. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

About the Role:

  • Develop unique and cuisine-appropriate menus that showcase the best of local and international flavors.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to set menu prices and ensure profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to continuously improve our offerings.
  • Monitor inventory and manage purchasing to minimize waste and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead a dynamic team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and results.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • A professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course, plus at least 7 years of experience in quality establishments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with a proven track record of food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge.
  • A strong understanding of HACCP management systems and administration work.
  • Prior experience with Futurelog & food waste management systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred.
