About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Building Craftsman to join our team at Abroad Work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures using a range of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Mix and apply mortar to create a stable base for structures
  2. Operate hand and power tools to cut and shape materials
  3. FOLLOW Blueprints or instructions to ensure precise construction
  4. Repair damaged structures by replacing defective materials
  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualification
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
  • ABILITY TO READ AND INTERPRET BLUEPRINTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
  • PHYSICALLY FIT WITH THE ABILITY TO LIFT HEAVY OBJECTS AND STAND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND GOOD HAND-EYE COORDINATION
