About This Role:

In this role, you'll be essential to maintaining smooth, secure, and efficient data center operations, contributing to our high standards of service excellence. As a Freelance Data Center Technician, you will play a key role in delivering on-demand support to our global data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware installation, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing network operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborating with remote teams, enhancing data center operations, and actively participating in project planning and execution.
  • Implementing and maintaining security protocols, protecting the integrity of the data center infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Managing and troubleshooting Linux and Windows-based systems, keeping systems secure and up-to-date through essential updates, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Configuring and managing networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient network operations.
  • Providing comprehensive reports to the remote management team, ensuring transparency and accountability in operations, and documenting all installations, repairs, maintenance tasks, and system performance.
