Construction Quality Assurance Professional

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring the quality of construction projects, with a strong focus on process improvement and risk management.

The CQA professional will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections and audits, and identifying areas for improvement. They will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems according to industry best practices and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure quality standards are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to quality management, including procedures, forms, and records.
  • Ensure timely testing and recording of concrete cube and soil tests.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality control within a construction company is mandatory, with preference for expertise in MARINE WORKS.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
  • ISO 9001 certification is strongly preferred.
