Electrical and Instrumentation Lead Job Description

Hiring an Electrical and Instrumentation Lead with expertise in operational maintenance execution and development within a LNG or Oil and Gas context. This role requires experience in similar positions, specifically in instrumentation, metering, and systems (PLC, ICSS, Safety control systems), as well as field operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the preparation of complex site maintenance procedures, ensuring incorporation of best practices and thorough testing of HIPS, Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF), black start, electrical switching procedures prepared by site supervision.
  2. Develop technical Scopes of Work and participate in the preparation of tenders, ensuring all SMCs (Safety Management Cases) for Electrical, Instrumentation, and ICSS are in place before start-up.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs, provide technical input, and optimize systems for efficiency and reliability.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • 15+ years' experience in instrumentation, metering, and systems (PLC, ICSS, Safety control systems)
  • 8 years' experience in field operations
  • Skilled in resource control, contract management, and general management
