Global Finance Director

We are seeking an accomplished Financial Operations Director to spearhead our company's financial growth and expansion into international markets. As a seasoned finance professional, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. You will also prepare and analyze financial statements, investment reports, and dashboards to provide strategic insights and support decision-making for senior leadership and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading the preparation of data rooms and financial documentation for investment rounds, as well as experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning, business modeling, and cash flow management.

You will also be responsible for monitoring and managing cash flow, financial risks, and working capital to optimize financial health and growth. Additionally, you will assist in fundraising activities, including preparing pitch materials, financial models, and investor presentations.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversight of accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements, investment reports, and dashboards.
• Leadership in data room preparation and financial documentation for investment rounds.
• Cross-functional collaboration for strategic financial planning, business modeling, and cash flow management.
• Monitoring and management of cash flow, financial risks, and working capital.
• Fundraising activities, including pitch materials, financial models, and investor presentations.
• Strategic recommendations and insights based on financial analysis.

• Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; a CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years of experience in managing financial operations of a startup, particularly at the Series A stage or beyond.
• Proven experience in managing international accounts, including multi-currency transactions, tax compliance, and cross-border financial reporting.
• Strong experience in preparing investment reports and managing data rooms for fundraising efforts.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards across different markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
