Offshore Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Engineering Manager to lead our offshore engineering team. This role will involve overseeing the delivery of offshore engineering projects and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in offshore engineering, with experience in managing teams and projects. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of offshore engineering projects.
  • Manage offshore engineering teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Review and approve engineering designs and documents.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of engineering activities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and developments in offshore engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • At least 10 years' experience in offshore engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore structural design codes and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
