Job Description

This technical role offers a unique opportunity to apply geochemistry to a large and varied hydrocarbon maturation portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert geochemical support and advice to customers in the Exploration and Production sector.
  • Plan, define and monitor quality control and close-out geochemical projects.
  • Identify problems and improvement opportunities related to geochemistry and technologies.
  • Conduct specialist studies for integrated projects.
  • Manage quality control of contractor specialist studies.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or Chemistry with a postgraduate qualification in Geochemistry.
  • At least 8 years of experience in subsurface fluid evaluation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Reservoir Production Allocation.
  • Skilled in analytical and interpretation techniques/methods.
  • Ability to identify Oil source and explain how hydrocarbons are moved/migrated.
