Senior Financial Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in financial management and be well-versed in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Invoice Approval: Ensure invoices are properly approved and coded in the general ledger.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and balance cash flows into and out of the business to meet obligations and optimize investment.
- Audit Liaison: Coordinate with external financial, compliance, and tax auditors.
- Internal Controls: Develop and monitor company policies and internal controls to safeguard assets and reduce fraud.
- Budgeting: Assist or create the budget, incorporating historical data.
- Debt Management: Administer loan agreements for company borrowings and collect moneys owed to the business from customers.
- Financial Strategy: Develop financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, tax provisions, and relevant industry and financial regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.
- Cost Savings: Identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
- Leadership: Mentor and manage the accounting and financial staff.
- Payroll: Handle payroll processing and labor tax compliance.
- External Reporting: Prepare company tax and financial statements, including public filings.
- Banking: Set up bank accounts and manage banking relationships.
- Stakeholder Management: Advise managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business.
