Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of School Principal at Assafwah Private School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage the school's academic departments, ensuring high-quality education and effective teaching practices.
  • To develop and implement academic policies and procedures that align with the school's vision and mission.
  • To foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social-emotional growth and well-being among students.
  • To work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success and achievement.
  • To stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and educational research, incorporating best practices into the school's programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (BEd, BA, Sciences).
  • Master's or PhD in Education or related field.
  • State licensure exam for teachers.
  • IELTS score of at least 6.0.
  • TOEFL and CELTA certifications (if available).
  • A minimum of 10-20 years of experience in education, preferably in an international or private/public school setting.
  • Experience with bilingual English national curricula (UK), US National Curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB), International Primary Cambridge (CIPP), and International Middle Years Curriculum.
