Merchandising Director

We are seeking an experienced Category Lead to join our team at Majid Al Futtaim. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of category strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability.

1. Develop and implement category strategies to maximize sales and revenue.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
3. Analyze sales data and market trends to inform category decisions.
4. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms that meet organizational objectives.
5. Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a category management or related role, preferably in retail/FMCG industry.
3. Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
