Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Data Science, and Business Units, to deliver insights-driven solutions. Your strong expertise in DAX and Power Query will enable you to perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure the accuracy and usability of data.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and usability
  • Troubleshoot Power BI issues and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience
  • Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for Power BI solutions
Requirements

To be successful as a Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI platform development
  • Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query
  • Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools and methodologies
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred Skills

The following skills are preferred:

  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in a consulting environment
