Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team at Sohar Aluminium.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Superintendent and will be responsible for maximizing the reliability, availability, and performance of complex industrial equipment and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

Preventative Maintenance Program Development
  • Plan and recommend a preventative maintenance program to maximize the reliability, availability, and performance of complex equipment.
  • Conduct failure mode and effects analyses to identify critical failure modes in a systemic and structured way.
  • Determine the optimum maintenance policy to reduce the severity of each failure.
Reliability Meetings and Project Management
  • Lead reliability meetings to determine reliability projects.
  • Perform detailed analysis to inform recommendations on reliability projects.
  • Facilitate meetings to determine priorities and select reliability projects.
Maintenance Documentation and Performance Monitoring
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and up-to-date records and SOPs.
  • Develop, monitor, and report reliability KPIs to enable leadership to track performance and make decisions on ways to improve performance.
