Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Professional to oversee the preparation of accurate and compliant financial reports. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis to facilitate timely decision-making.
As a seasoned accounting professional, you will develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency. You will assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing historical data and providing insights into financial trends.
You will collaborate with auditors during annual audit processes, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries promptly. Maintaining and updating accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and implementing best practices is also crucial in this role. Additionally, you will prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities.
This role requires a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset to interpret complex financial data and recommend actionable solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory for credibility. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a corporate environment is required.
