About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Resident Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality projects that transform society.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably on port, marine, or infrastructure projects.

- Main Responsibilities
Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing the daily construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and project standards.
Monitor contractor performance, coordinate with site inspectors, and review contractor submissions such as method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.
Support progress monitoring, schedule adherence, and quality assurance measures, attending site coordination meetings and preparing minutes of meetings and site reports as required.
Ensure that works are executed in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, maintaining project documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and correspondence logs.
Liaise with the contractor, client representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of the project.
- Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably on port, marine, or infrastructure projects.
- Skill Set
Good technical and analytical skills with a focus on quality and safety, proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software, and strong communication and coordination skills.
- Languages
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
