About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function, responsible for ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services required for our operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement policies and procedures aligned with our business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the procurement process, including supplier identification, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure they meet quality and cost standards, driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, securing mutually beneficial agreements.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, resolving issues and disputes in a collaborative manner.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to understand their procurement requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to inform strategic procurement decisions.
- Conduct regular cost and price analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier performance metrics and provide actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial performance, providing transparent insights into procurement outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering results-driven procurement strategies, driving cost savings, and improving supply chain efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, with a customer-focused mindset.
