1. Role Overview

The primary role of this position is to carry out event, commercial, and construction-related videography and photography assignments, including editing of photos and videos. The candidate will also contribute to marketing, client handling, and team management activities.

2. Principal Responsibilities

  • Execute videography assignments for events, commercial projects, and corporate requirements, capturing high-quality footage that tells a compelling story.
  • Perform photography assignments for events, commercial products, corporate profiles, and construction sites, producing visually appealing images that showcase the subject matter.
  • Edit and enhance videos and photographs professionally for client use, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement.
  • Conduct aerial (drone-based) videography and photography, providing unique perspectives and adding an extra layer of creativity to the work.
  • Assist in construction project documentation, including progress photography, video documentation, time-lapse setup, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring all necessary information is captured and presented effectively.
  • Maintain and organize media libraries, ensuring easy retrieval and cataloguing of media assets, and making it simple to access and share content with stakeholders.

3. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the sales and marketing team by creating promotional content for social media, digital marketing, and printed media, helping to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Participate in client visits, assist in project briefing sessions, and help in understanding client requirements, ensuring that the work meets their needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee event setups, videography, and photography in the absence of senior team members, taking ownership of the project and delivering high-quality results.
  • Manage and liaise with third-party vendors (freelancers, agencies) during project execution, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication throughout the process.
  • Provide support in proposal preparations by contributing visuals and creative inputs, helping to develop compelling proposals that win business.
  • Assist in creating case studies and portfolio updates after project completions, showcasing the success of the work and highlighting the skills and expertise of the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new videography/photography techniques, and digital content tools, remaining ahead of the curve and bringing fresh ideas and approaches to the work.
  • Ensure all work is completed with a strong emphasis on safety (QHSSE standards), prioritizing the well-being of people and the environment.
