Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bartender to join our team at the Hyatt Centric Austin-Downtown/Congress Street. As a key member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and creating lasting memories for our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the delivery of brand promise and providing exceptional guest service at all times.
  2. FOLLOWING THE CYCLE OF SERVICE AND ADHERING TO ALL SKILLS TRAINED IN DEPARTMENTAL CORE TRAINING.
  3. TAKING CARE OF EQUIPMENT AS IF IT WERE YOUR OWN.
  4. KNOWING DAILY TARGETS AND PROJECTIONS.
  5. ATTENDING BRIEFS WITH RESTAURANT STAFF TO REVIEW DAILY SPECIALS, CHANGES ON THE MENU AND SERVICE SPECIFICATIONS FOR RESERVATIONS.

You will also be responsible for communicating effectively between internal departments, checking dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, and reporting any problems to management.
