Stewardship Director

We are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage professional to lead our stewarding team in delivering exceptional quality and service. As Chief Steward, you will assist the Stewarding Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our food processing facilities and operating equipment.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure smooth operation of the stewarding department.
• Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, focusing on facilities, operations, and costs.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and hygiene standards, as well as product and service quality.
• Closely monitor the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories.
• Collaborate with the Stewarding Manager to establish par stocks and supplies, and approve storeroom requisitions.
• Coordinate with Assistant Food & Beverage Managers or Outlet Managers to align daily and next-day requirements.
• Manage health inspection records, attendance records, and files for casual employees.
• Implement measures to reduce loss of silverware and flatware.
• Promote safe and environmentally friendly practices to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as the environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in stewarding, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
