Procurement Strategist

At John Wood Group PLC, we're recruiting a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join our Projects team.

This role focuses on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work, executing specific aspects of supply chain management including expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation, and reporting of major procurement packages/subcontracts.

• The successful candidate will supervise and guide directly reporting supply chain specialists/associates.
• A clear understanding of the client's head contract requirements is essential, including Wood responsibilities and integration into project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures, and terms and conditions.
• The position requires a working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, with the ability to interface with Wood legal/commercial experts to initiate/discuss adaptations for robust commercial agreements.

This long-term assignment is based in Oman.
