Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advisory services to project managers and directors on planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify critical paths and propose corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
  2. Analyze progress and identify areas of concern, proposing solutions to mitigate delays and optimize resource utilization.
  3. Provide support to the claims team, ensuring accurate information collection and elimination of confusion.
  4. Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to established timelines and milestones.
  5. Identify and evaluate different critical paths, proposing suitable measures to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes.
  6. Assess and analyze project data, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • 10-15 years postgraduate estimating experience.
  • Airport experience is a must.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to summarize complex information into concise executive-level briefs.
