Oil and Gas Shutdown Project Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Plant Inspector to join our team for an exciting Oil & Gas shutdown project in Oman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of plant equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. This includes monitoring shutdown activities, identifying potential risks, and ensuring corrective actions are taken. Additionally, the inspector will be responsible for documenting all inspections and reporting results to the project management team.

• This role is ideal for individuals with experience in inspection of equipment, pipelines, and vessels within the oil & gas industry.
• A strong understanding of plant operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements is essential.
• Certifications such as API 510, 570, or 653 are highly valued, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed inspections of plant equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Monitor shutdown activities, identify potential risks, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure all inspections are properly documented and results are reported to the project management team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in plant inspection, preferably within shutdown or turnaround projects.
• API Certifications: Minimum 1 API certification required (API 510, 570, or 653 preferred). 2 API certifications will be considered a plus.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
