We are seeking a Lead Cost Controller with expertise in project cost control systems, preferably in the oil/gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in similar positions and possess high-level understanding of SAP systems.

The Service Holder shall work within Project Control team supporting the LNG Bunkering Project in Cost Control management during Execution phase.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, registration, analysis, processing and filing of all project cost documentation.
  • Supporting the Project Control and Project Team in all matters relating to Cost Control area.
  • Contributing to delivery of the project in time, in budget.
  • Observing & imposing strict confidentiality all along the course of the Project.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Participating to the Project Budget preparation.
  • Coordinating the detailed preparation and issues of the various budgets (internal & external) with input from the members of the project team.
  • To provide ad-hoc support as required.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the Cost Control reports.
  • Assisting to cost trends analysis.
  • Monitoring and Assessment of Commitments, Variations and Value of Work done.

This position requires:

  • Professional Experience (years): 15+
  • Experience in similar position (years): +10 years' experience with Projects Cost Control Systems (preferably in Oil/Gas Industry), Experience in a supervisory position, Experience operating in Fabrication/Construction yards
  • Level / Diploma: Degree qualified in Accounting, Engineering or similar
  • Languages: English and French mandatory

In this role, you will:

  • Performing as a focal point of costing work.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate costing philosophy and methodology for the Project.
