Senior Project Manager

This role involves managing key assignments and business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
The successful candidate will be accountable for preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.
A strong commercial and financial acumen is required, along with experience in administering FIDIC forms of contract and design & build projects.
Additional responsibilities include managing costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in quantity surveying or cost management, professional membership such as MRICS/RICS, and extensive years of experience in the field.
Prior experience in bidding and business development, commercial management across various sectors, and knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, and contract law are also highly valued.
A comprehensive understanding of industry best practices, including sustainability and social value considerations, is essential for success in this role.
- Key responsibilities include delivering service excellence to clients, managing relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management, change control management, and contract administration is required.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to network, innovate, and share knowledge are also important attributes for this position.
