Job Title: Sports and Recreation Coordinator

A leading hospitality organization is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Sports and Recreation Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for sports and recreation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

This role involves providing exceptional guest service, managing the day-to-day operations of the Sports and Recreation department, and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the daily running of the Sports and Recreation department to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement unique and interesting activities that showcase the hotel's cultural, sporting, and recreational offerings
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's products and services, with a focus on sports and leisure activities
• Lead the implementation of health and safety protocols in the Sports and Recreation areas
• Execute the Anantara Children's program
• Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe environment, using proper safety techniques
• Monitor the success of activity programs and make adjustments to maintain high quality and guest satisfaction
• Prepare and circulate clear information to guests about events and activities offered by the hotel
• Promote the Spa offering to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue
• Maintain equipment and facilities in excellent condition
• Provide fitness training and guidance to guests and members
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with other departments
• Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting fees for Sports and Recreation activities
• Assume additional duties or responsibilities as requested by management
• Drive revenue growth for the department

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduate or higher educational qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Helpful and attentive attitude
• Physical fitness required
