About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Assistant to ensure seamless stock management and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for implementing efficient inventory control measures and maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Pick stocks from buffer for internal replenishment as per sales requirements, bulk stock to buffer to secure weekend supplies from external warehouses, and maintain vigilance during picking and binning to reduce discrepancies and stock loss.
  • Operational Excellence: Operate equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Commercial Acumen: Assist in stocking/merchandising incoming truck shipments to sales floors and remaining stocks back to buffers.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure empty boxes are removed and areas are ready for customers before store opening, minimizing internal handling damages to control damage costs and achieve store profit targets.
RequirementsEssential Skills:
  • A valid forklift driving license is required.
  • This is a physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting on a daily basis, so a strong physique is necessary.
  • Good written and verbal English language skills are essential.
Desirable Experience:
  • 1-2 years retail experience, preferably with knowledge of goods-flow/supply chain management.
