Job Overview

The role of Warehouse Associate involves ensuring the efficient movement of goods within an IKEA store. This includes stock picking from buffers for internal replenishment and binning to buffer stock requested for weekends from external warehouses. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following prescribed work methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in stocking/merchandising of incoming truck shipments to the sales floor and remaining stocks back to buffers.
  • Make sure all empty boxes are removed and areas are ready for customers before store opening.
  • Reduce internal handling damages to control damage costs and achieve store profit targets.

Requirements

  • A valid forklift driving license is required.
  • This is a physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
