MECAMAC is seeking a highly skilled
KNX Engineer
with advanced technical expertise and strong understanding of
MEP systems integration
. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in
HVAC, lighting control, BMS, and AV systems
, and the ability to deliver complex automation and control solutions across multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission advanced KNX-based smart control systems.
  • Integrate KNX with other systems and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, DALI, etc.) within HVAC, lighting, AV, and building management systems.
  • Coordinate with MEP, electrical, and IT teams to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization of integrated solutions.
  • Prepare system documentation, wiring diagrams, and integration schematics.
  • Provide technical support during design, installation, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Engineering.
  • Certified KNX Partner (Advanced level preferred).
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in smart building, BMS, or system integration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC control logic, and low-voltage communication protocols.
  • Excellent
    analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
    across disciplines.
  • Experience with AV, IoT, or home automation systems is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in troubleshooting system issues
  • Experience in systems engineering and seamless integration of interconnected components
  • Practical knowledge of software development, specifically for smart building technologies
  • Familiarity with KNX protocols and standards, and certification in KNX is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage on-site installations and interact with clients effectively
  • Proven understanding of intelligent building controls and modern smart home technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
