Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Yacht Captain to command a luxury motor yacht based in Muscat. The ideal candidate will ensure safe navigation, manage the crew, oversee vessel maintenance, and deliver a five-star experience to guests on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Command and navigate the yacht in compliance with international maritime laws and Omani regulations.
- Ensure safety of passengers, crew, and vessel at all times.
- Supervise and train crew members.
- Manage voyage planning, weather routing, and fuel management.
- Oversee yacht maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness.
- Coordinate with management on scheduling, logistics, and guest services.
- Maintain accurate logs, safety drills, and inspection records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as Captain on luxury motor yachts (50ft+).
- Valid STCW and Master 200GT (or equivalent) certification.
- In-depth knowledge of Omani and international maritime regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English (Arabic a plus).
- Local or transferable visa preferred; relocation assistance may be considered.
