Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Record and reconcile all day-to-day financial transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries
  • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, tracking expenses, revenue, and other financial data across multiple projects
  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims with proper documentation and approvals

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Track receivables and follow up with clients for outstanding payments
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts and delivery milestones
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to process timely payments and manage accounts payable aging reports

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Support monthly and quarterly closings by preparing reconciliations and financial summaries
  • Assist in generating financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget variance analyses
  • Highlight discrepancies, cost inefficiencies, or financial risks to management

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with Oman's tax regulations, including VAT filing and reporting
  • Support external auditors with documentation, reconciliations, and clarifications during audits
  • Maintain organized records of all financial documents and transactions

Process & Systems Support

  • Help improve internal financial workflows and cost control measures
  • Use and update financial software (such as Zoho or equivalent) to maintain real-time financial visibility
  • Ensure that approvals are aligned with internal financial authority limits
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the services or creative industry
  • Solid understanding of Omani tax laws, especially VAT and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliation practices, and financial reporting
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a project-based or multi-client agency environment
  • Familiarity with Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and integrated financial workflows
  • Arabic and English proficiency for communication and documentation
  • Understanding of local banking processes and payroll handling
