power facilities. As an
I&C Engineer
, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and optimized performance of plant instrumentation, control systems, and automation infrastructure — playing a critical role in maintaining availability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of all I&C systems, including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and field instrumentation.
• Support the continuous operation of the plant's
  DCS, PLC, and control networks
  , ensuring system integrity and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control faults across gas turbines, HRSG, steam turbines, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Participate in commissioning, calibration, loop checks, and functional testing during outages and major maintenance.
• Review and enhance preventive maintenance programs to improve asset reliability and reduce reactive work.
• Provide technical support for modifications, upgrades, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure I&C maintenance documentation, work orders, and reports are accurately maintained within the
  CMMS (SAP preferred)
  .
• Collaborate with operations, electrical, and mechanical teams to support plant performance targets.
• Assist in preparing spare parts forecasts, technical evaluations, and maintenance budgets.
• Ensure compliance with
  HSSE regulations
  , control-room safety standards, and company operating procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement in maintenance methods, troubleshooting practices, and control system optimization.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in
  Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
  .
• 5–8 years' experience
  in I&C maintenance within
  CCGT or power generation
  environments.
• Strong working knowledge of
  DCS/PLC architectures
  (e.g., Siemens, GE, Emerson, Yokogawa).
• Experience with instrumentation calibration, loop tuning, control logic, and process automation.
• Familiarity with gas turbine and HRSG I&C systems and protection schemes.
• Proficiency with
  CMMS systems
  , technical reporting, and maintenance planning.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities with a commitment to safety and compliance.
• Fluent in
  English
  ; Arabic an advantage.
