This role will form a critical part of the senior leadership team within the school and will report to the Business & Support Services Manager.

Role Description

The Parent Relations Manager (PRM) is a full-time, on-site position located at Jebel View International School in The Knowledge Oasis, Muscat.

The PRM leads the admissions and front-of-house teams to deliver a professional, welcoming, and efficient experience for families at Jebel View International School. As the first point of contact for prospective parents, they manage the full journey from enquiry to enrolment and support the re-enrolment and retention of current families. This is a parent-facing management role that benefits from strong sales awareness and a deep understanding of what drives excellent customer experience. The Parent Relations Manager is also responsible for shaping and communicating the story of the school, using their expertise in parent engagement, customer service, communications, and social media to build trust and connection. Working closely with the Artemis Education Marketing and Admissions Team, they ensure alignment with group-wide strategy, maintain high standards of communication, and contribute to enrolment growth and community building

Parent Experience

Act as the primary point of contact for all parent enquiries and feedback.

Lead the front-of-house team to ensure a consistent, welcoming, and responsive experience.

Manage communication channels (email, phone, in-person) to reflect the school's values and tone.

Handle sensitive parent issues with professionalism and discretion, ensuring resolution and follow-up.

Monitor and improve the overall parent journey, from first enquiry to long-term engagement.

Student Admissions & Retention

Oversee the full admissions process from enquiry to enrolment, including school tours and follow-up.

Manage re-enrolment timelines and communications, coordinating with Finance and academic teams.

Train and support the Admissions Officer in delivering a professional, data-driven admissions process.

Maintain accurate records and reporting through Open Apply.

Track conversion rates and provide analysis to School Leadership and Artemis Education.

Communications & Community Outreach

Represent the school at open days, events, relocation fairs, and community outreach activities.

Manage the school's social media presence and contribute to content planning.

Collaborate with the Artemis Education Marketing and Admissions team to align campaigns and

messaging.

Gather and share success stories, testimonials, and parent feedback that reflect the school's brand.

Maintain accuracy and relevance of admissions-related content on the school website.

Administration & Internal Stakeholders

Lead daily coordination across the Admissions Officer and Front of House team to ensure smooth

and responsive parent-facing operations.

Collaborate with the SLT to align messaging, share key enrolment data, and support wider school initiatives.

Act as the key liaison between the school and the Artemis Education Marketing and Admissions team

to ensure group-level consistency in communications and branding.

Maintain accurate and timely records in Open Apply and other relevant systems, ensuring data integrity

and clear reporting.

Ensure new student information is shared with relevant departments before start dates to support

seamless onboarding.

Support key school events, briefings, and parent engagement activities alongside SLT and support

staff.

100% of key student and enrolment data accurately recorded and up to date.

Internal communications shared within agreed timelines and in line with school priorities.

All new student information shared with relevant teams a minimum of 5 working days before the student's start date.

Full participation in internal meetings

Uphold and model professional standards in communication, confidentiality, and collaboration across all teams.

Qualifications

Essential

· Relevant Qualification in communications, marketing, customer excellence, or a related field

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer-facing, admissions, or communications role

· Proven team management experience

· Strong understanding of customer experience and/or sales principles

· Confident and professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills

· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

· Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with diverse families and stakeholders

· Professional, discreet, and solutions-focused approach

· Culturally aware and sensitive in an international school environment

· Experience managing or contributing to social media and external communications

· Committed to safeguarding and willing to complete all required child protection training

· Fluent in English (spoken and written)
knowledge of additional languages spoken in the community is an advantage

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and colleagues

Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to address parent concerns with professionalism and tact

· Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment

Desirable

· Degree-level or similar Qualification in communications, customer excellence or related field

· Experience using CRM or admissions platforms (e.g. Open Apply / iSAMS)

· Experience in an international or school setting

· Experience in organizing and managing events
