Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and discreet
Live-In Driver & Household Assistant
to support a private household in Muscat, Oman. The role combines safe and efficient driving with household assistance in a butler-style capacity, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and punctual driving services for medical appointments, errands, and social engagements.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of vehicle(s).
  • Assist with household coordination, including supplies, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
  • Support with light butler duties such as setting/clearing meals and welcoming guests.
  • Offer companionship while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Assist with technology-related needs (smart devices, internet, mobile apps, etc.).
  • Accompany employer on occasional domestic and international travel.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a private driver, butler, household assistant, or similar role (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with household management and basic technology support is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Defensive driving and/or first aid training would be an advantage.

  • Safe driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling personal and household matters.
