Job Purpose

The Marketing Trainee will assist the marketing team in the development, implementation, and monitoring of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and brand initiatives. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and practical exposure to different aspects of marketing, preparing the trainee for future growth in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Support in creating and managing content for social media platforms, websites, and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams for marketing materials and event execution.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in marketing.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
