Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Muscat for the Head Chef position. The Head Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, designing and implementing menus, maintaining food quality, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, training and supervising kitchen staff, managing food inventory, and controlling costs while ensuring consistent, high-quality dining experiences for guests. Collaboration with management to align dining services with Al Mouj Golf's world-class reputation is a crucial aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in culinary arts, menu creation, and food preparation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Expertise in maintaining kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and inventory management.
  • Experience in cost control, budgeting, and managing food supplies effectively.
  • Creative and detail-oriented approach to menu design and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Formal culinary education or a similar qualification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of international cuisine and ability to cater to a diverse clientele is a plus.
